Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 16 June 2026
This is a working draft provided for transparency. It is under review and may change before it becomes binding.
We want everyone to be able to use LOVIC. We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. This statement describes the current status honestly, including areas we are still improving; it is not a claim of full conformance.
What is in place
- Semantic page structure with landmarks and a skip-to-content link.
- Keyboard navigation across interactive controls, with visible focus indicators.
- A light, high-contrast palette chosen for legibility.
- Respect for the operating system reduced-motion setting, which disables animation.
- Form fields with associated labels and clear error messages.
Known limitations
We have not yet completed an independent audit against every WCAG 2.1 AA criterion. Some data-dense screens and charts may not yet be fully optimised for screen readers, and some complex interactions are still being reviewed. We are prioritising these improvements.
Assistive technology
The platform is intended to work with modern browsers and common assistive technologies. If you use assistive technology and encounter a barrier, we want to hear about it so we can fix it.
Reporting a barrier
If you find an accessibility problem, please contact [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL] with a description of the issue and the page it occurred on. We aim to acknowledge reports promptly and will keep you updated on a fix.
Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS). Public-sector bodies procuring the platform have their own accessibility duties, which we support with this statement and ongoing improvement.
