These terms govern access to and use of the LOVIC platform. The platform is made available to institutions under a separate written agreement; where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement prevails.

Provider

Acceptable use

You may use the platform only for its intended purpose and in line with your institution's policies. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, upload unlawful content, or use the platform to make automated decisions about people.

AI is advisory only

The platform's AI features are advisory. They summarise, suggest and support human judgement; they do not make decisions about any person and must not be used as if they do. Outputs may be imperfect and should be reviewed by a person before any action is taken.

Intellectual property

The platform, its software and its branding are owned by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] or its licensors. Data uploaded by an institution remains the institution's; nothing here transfers ownership of that data to us.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update features and these terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated to institutions.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited in law. Subject to that, the platform is provided on the terms of the institution's written agreement, which sets out the applicable warranties and liability position.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
